A native of Columbus, Ohio, I moved to New Mexico to attend the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, and graduated in 1999. Since beginning my practice at Vitality Works I have sought advanced bodywork training in order to treat people with chronic pain more effectively and efficiently. To that end, I have studied PUSH™ Therapy extensively with Michael Takatsuno, its developer. I am currently the only Certified PUSH™ Therapist practicing in New Mexico, and am a Certified Assistant for PUSH™ Therapy classes. In conjunction with this work, I also offer Therapeutic Massage and Belavi™ Facelift massage, both of which are graceful complements to PUSH™ sessions.

I received my first massage in 1988 and fell in love. I took my first massage class in 1989 and for the next 15 years continued to explore the world of healing arts through seminars and spa visits as I also pursued my calling to serve others through a career in the nonprofit sector. It took a while, but I finally figured out that this passionate interest of mine was also part of my calling and must become my profession, at which point I packed up and moved to Albuquerque to immerse myself in classes at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics. Before my 2006 graduation, I began to pursue advanced training in my chosen specialties, which I am thrilled to offer at Vitality Works; in addition to Therapeutic Massage, I am a Core Synchronism Practitioner (Level V) and a dedicated Colon Therapist.

After moving back home to New Mexico in 1994, I knew that I wanted to pursue a career in the healing arts and natural health. I graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics in July 1996, and spent my first year out working at various day spas and chiropractic offices. I have been at Vitality Works for over 10 years now. Besides Therapeutic Massage, I also have advanced training in Craniosacral Therapy from the Upledger Institute. My primary focus and passion is Colon Hydrotherapy and helping to educate my clients about digestive health.
