Colon Hydrotherapy, also known as a Colonic, is a natural therapeutic method intended to im-prove the functioning of the large intestine (colon), and thereby the overall health and vitality of the individual. Colonics are based on age-old principles of hydrotherapy, which recognizes the healing properties of water. Vitality Works colon therapists use the traditional gravitational method, which offers the twin goals of cleansing and toning the colon. A gentle infusion of warm, filtered water is introduced into the large intestine, while the therapist gently massages the abdomen and controls the temperature, volume and pressure of the water. The water hydrates the colon, helping to soften, break up, and then remove impacted and dehydrated fecal, mucoid, parasitic, and other waste material that had been lining the intestinal wall (cleansing). The water also influences the colon’s peristaltic action, either stimulating it in the case of constipation or sedating it in the case of diarrhea (toning). The colon’s nerves and glands are freed to resume their normal activities, thereby allowing the large intestine to absorb nutrients and release toxins more easily. Your first colonic will include an initial consultation, during which you’ll be able to talk to your therapist about your colon dysfunction. She will also review lifestyle factors, such as those mentioned above, that may be contributing to your concerns and changes you might make to better support your digestive and overall health and well-being. Based on the principles of natural therapeutics, polarity therapy, cranial osteopathy (cranial sacral therapy), and the discoveries of Robert Stevens, its founder and developer, Core Synchronism represents the next generation of subtle hands-on bodywork. When in balance, your entire body (physical, emotional and energetic) moves in synchronistic motion with the ebb and flow of the core current within your cerebrospinal fluid. It is also true that all kinds of trauma ~ stress, accidents, surgeries, illness, emotional wounds, etc. ~ whether recent or long ago, can cause the affected bones, soft tissue and organs to fall out of synch with this natural rhythm. When this happens, the dis-synchronistic motion in any area will be expressed in symptoms of imbalance, such as pain, inflammation, rashes, eruptions, discharges, fatigue, anger, depression, etc. Core Synchronism is a gentle and profound hands-on form of bodywork in which the therapist works to aid the body in re-establishing synchronistic motion and reconnecting with the rhythmic flow of cerebrospinal fluid. By bringing about a state of deep relaxation, Core Synchronism allows all aspects of the body to reset themselves and opens the door to healing. As Robert Stevens has stated, “Core Synchronism is truly an awesome tool which assists nature in the healing process to manifest equilibrium between Mind, Body, and Soul.”
CranioSacral Therapy, also known as CST, is a method used by massage therapists who manually apply a subtle movement of the spinal and cranial bones to bring the central nervous system into harmony. This therapy involves assessing and addressing the movement of the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), which can be restricted by trauma to the body, such as through falls, accidents, and general nervous tension. By gently working with the spine, the skull and its cranial sutures, diaphragms, and fascia, the restrictions of nerve passages are eased, the movement of CSF through the spinal cord can be optimized, and misaligned bones can be restored to their proper position. This therapy is said to be particularly useful for mental stress, neck and back pain, migraines, TMJ Syndrome, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorders, and for chronic nervous conditions such as fibromyalgia. CranioSacral Therapy was originally developed in the early 1900's by an osteopath named William G. Sutherland and later refined and promoted by Dr. John Upledger.

Patients are treated fully clothed, while manual pressure is applied to muscles and soft tissue using a unique and systematic procedure that restores blood flow and oxygen to tissue. The treatments are designed to improve posture, increase range of motion, and result in long term structural changes to the body. PUSH ™ treatments can relieve many severe pains and help prevent their reoccurrence. PUSH ™ Therapy is a comprehensive system that utilizes the PUSH ™ Treatment Plan, a highly effective tool for achieving long term chronic pain relief. Reconnective Healing ®Reconnective Healing ® is often a life-changing experience. Now, for the first time, you may access a new, more comprehensive spectrum of healing than has been attainable at any point prior, one that not only includes but also expands beyond any and all known forms of "energy" healing. The Reconnective Healing spectrum is comprised of the full healing and evolutionary continuum of energy, light and information, and allows for healings that are not just physical, not just mental, not just emotional...yet instead goes beyond that to bring you healing that includes the evolution of your very Being and Essence. In the words of Dr. Eric Pearl, through whom Reconnective Healing® was introduced to us in 1993, "If you're lucky, your healing will
come in the the form you anticipate. If you're really lucky, your
healing will come in a form you've not even dreamed of ~ one which the
universe specifically has in mind for you." In the presence of these frequencies, you can allow yourself to come back into balance. During your Reconnective Healing® session, you will be invited to relax on a massage table, fully clothed, while your practitioner works "hands off" your body to help you reconnect with the frequencies. It's that simple. Vastly different from Reiki, Qi Gong, Pranic Healing and other energy modalities, Reconnective Healing® transcends any "techniques" you’ve previously encountered.
